I'm fourteen, and I've been pretty depressed for a while now. But now I just feel like my life is falling apart. It started yesterday, when my family found out I ditched school on Thursday to go to town. My mum gets pretty annoyed and irritated with it, and she made me promise a few weeks ago that I wouldn't ditch anymore, but I still did. She doesn't really do anything about it, but she gets super mad. My auntie found out about it and called me then she threatened to smash me, so I felt like running away last night because she said she was coming today. And I believe her because she hits her kids and sometimes my cousin can't come to school because she has a blackeye or something. My cousin told me she couldn't be bothered coming over today but all of my other family like my grandparents who absolutely LOVE me, and my mum all wanted to give me a hiding :/ I feel like I'm letting them down so much. They all expect me to be perfect, and my nan tells me that out of all her grandchildren, I'm the one with the most "potential", and I'm also the eldest. They expect so much from me, and I just can't take it. They have my whole life planned out for me; college, career, kids. They all expect me to be a successful lawyer and to get into the best university like Harvard or something. And I don't even know if I'll live long enough to make it to uni. I don't want to talk to them about it, because to be honest I'm not exactly "emotionally" close with anyone in my family. I live with my mum, my two brothers, my sister and my step-dad. I want to run away, and I have this friend who told me that if I ever want to run away, he'll pay for my bus ticket and everything. I just want to get away from everything- all the expectations and pressure. My family thinks I'm strong because I always act like it, but I'm crumbling. It upsets me so much, and when I was talking to my friend on the phone and telling her what was happening I started crying, and I still feel like crying. It hurts me so much. My auntie was saying how I've disgraced the family and all of this stuff about the family name and letting down everyone. I hate it. I just want to run away. Or at least go live with my dad, but he lives all the way up north, and I wouldn't want to live there because it's a small town and really not my ideal place to live in. I love my family but I really feel like they hate me and like my life is just so stuffed up. Please help :( Should I run away or what? Should I ask my dad if I can move in with hime or if he can move closer? My mum won't like it, since my dad used to be heavily into drugs and is just getting his life sorted. But I can't stand living at home anymore! I need adivce.

I work out 5-6 times a week and I'm seeing great improvements, but the way my body is growing is weird, im 6'1 and was born with a naturallt big torso and wide shoulders, and long arms, my biceps the right one seems to be growing fully but my left one seems to be growing only on my inner side, my so my right one looks a bit bigger, but my strength are **** the same, wang the same goes for my upper pec, but the strength is the same, but my left founder is bigger than my right one, I try to even them out but dont seem to even them. Hows my work out schedule?

Sounds like a good workout. You need to add something in there for your shoulders if you want to see your bench press increase. Stronger shoulders will help you a lot with benching. You said you were skinny and wanted to gain weight. If you want to get bigger, use heavy weights (not overdoing it though) and less reps, 6-8. If you want to stay lean and maintain the look you have, use less weight and more reps, 10-15. You will gain mass, which will put some weight on you if you go heavier with less reps. Also, your diet is a big part of exercise as well. Eat protien and add some carbs in there to get bigger. The protien will help keep the bulk too. I lift 4-5 days a week and always try to get 3/4 muscle groups in with 3 sets of each group. 1: Chest, Bicepts, Abs 2: Tris,back, legs and shoulders. 3: Same as 1, 4: Same as 2, and the 5th day is cardio with some light fast reps. 2 days off and start over.

Maybe do a chocolate fountation and have different items (strawberrys, apples, etc.) for guests to dine on. I think the menu sounds very good so far and you have pretty much everything. You do not understand what the doctor said. He is not saying that he can take your grandmother out of her current home and place her in a FT care facility. Only that your family cannot put her in a FT care facility WITHOUT him giving his approval. FT care facility places are very very hard to find and they are competitive - so to ensure that only the most needed people get the places and not those whose families "want to get rid of granny" the doctor has to write a referal stating that the persons needs are soo great they cannot be looked after by family anymore (e.g. dementia).

Why arnt my pecs noticeably larger?

i have been benching for the past 4 or 5 months, I weigh 175 and im '6 "2, i can bench press 170, 10 times for 3 reps, i can verticle press 155, 10 times for 3 reps, i can butterfly 180, 10 times for more than 3 reps, and then other random pec workouts, I feel like my pecs should be noticeably larger, but they are not, i started out with almost no pec definition benching 115. Now i have pec definition, but nothing to be proud of, nothing i would really want to show off, what should i do, i want large pecs, i also workout my triceps because i know those help with benching

Am I eating healthy enough in first trimester?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and having the usual nausea/food aversions/sensitivities to smell. I am taking a prenatal vitamin and usually have a bowl of total raisin bran with fruit in the morning, or eggs, and sometimes both. Yesterday I had TWO Auntie Ann's pretzels and cheese sauce for lunch, a peach for a snack, and pb & j for dinner with a yogurt, although I was very nauseous after dinner. Okay, so i have a friend who's a lyric baritone, his voice ranges from A2-B4 in normal voice, with vocal fry he reaches down to an E-flat (barely audible). His tessitura(comforst zone lies within Eb3-Eb4). His falsetto goes up to a D6, and he can sing comfortably in his falsetto up to a G5. He wants to know if the same principals used to classify female voices can be used to classify falsetto countertenors. For example principals like: tessitura, timbre, strength in the middle part of falsetto(like mezzo-sopranos) or the upper part(like sopranos) and/or vocal weight.

Best home workout routine?

I have been doing my own home workout routine for the last 2 months for about 4 days a week but I am wanting to know what different or better techniques I can use to bulk up faster. I am only 60kg (132lbs) and I am 172cm in height, I am also 18 years old. I feel as though I am too skinny and look too weak so I would like to bulk up a bit, so please don't laugh at my workout routine as like I said, I do think I am fairly weak. I am wanting to work on my pecs, thighs, abs and biceps, but I do not want to go to the gym, I would just like to workout at home. My current routine is 80 15kg dumbell reps on each arm (split up into 20's on each arm), 200 cross armed sit-ups (split up into 100) and 40 lunges on each leg (split up into 20's, I know that isn't much but my legs are really weak). I currently don't have a pec building routine but I would like to start one, I just don't know what techniques would work best at home. Best home workout routine?

I have been doing my own home workout routine for the last 2 months for about 4 days a week but I am wanting to know what different or better techniques I can use to bulk up faster. I am only 60kg (132lbs) and I am 172cm in height, I am also 18 years old. I feel as though I am too skinny and look too weak so I would like to bulk up a bit, so please don't laugh at my workout routine as like I said, I do think I am fairly weak. I am wanting to work on my pecs, thighs, abs and biceps, but I do not want to go to the gym, I would just like to workout at home. My current routine is 80 15kg dumbell reps on each arm (split up into 20's on each arm), 200 cross armed sit-ups (split up into 100) and 40 lunges on each leg (split up into 20's, I know that isn't much but my legs are really weak). I currently don't have a pec building routine but I would like to start one, I just don't know what techniques would work best at home. I am thinking about getting a cross tattoo on my left pec with praying hands holding a cross necklace over lapping it. I have the same problem too, but it's going away. I would do push ups to counter it. Seeing that you are using multiple muscles and have to balance your arms and body in order to do a proper push up. The balancing will force the body to balance out physically.

Problems with pectoral muscles.?

I've been going to the gym for about three months now, about 3 times a week. I have been using a mixture of machines such as the pectoral fly and cabel press in order to work on my chest muscles, as well as bench press etc. No matter what exercise I do, I can always feel my left side stretching more than my right side. It is also noticeable that my left pec is growing more than my right side. I am right handed and I have had no injuries. I have tried putting equal amounts of pressure when doing exercises on each side but to no avail. I've started using free weights just to work on my right side to build it up because they are growing so differently. Any advice and help would be appreciated. Also, my build is I am very tall and thin. I am 18 years old.

My life is falling apart, I need help, please!?

I recently lost my nan to cancer in January. It literally broke my heart, an my family hasnt been the same since. Chest Tattoo all good?

I am 16 going to be 17in a couple months, and I am planning on getting a tattoo on my chest(left pec) and I do lift weights. Help with muscle growth.?

I work out 5-6 times a week and I'm seeing great improvements, but the way my body is growing is weird, im 6'1 and was born with a naturallt big torso and wide shoulders, and long arms, my biceps the right one seems to be growing fully but my left one seems to be growing only on my inner side, my so my right one looks a bit bigger, but my strength are **** the same, wang the same goes for my upper pec, but the strength is the same, but my left founder is bigger than my right one, I try to even them out but dont seem to even them. Why does the pectoralis major ADDUCT but not ABDUCT?

I have to memorize all the insertions, origins and functions of muscles and I want to know what the pec. major addcuts but does not abduct.

Pain in left side of chest?

Hey guys, so ive been having a dull ache on the left side of my chest. Like right under my pec. Im not coughing nor do I have trouble breathing. Also when I bend my neck forward it stretches my back and I feel an ache right under my shoulder blade. I have been working out and dieting if that makes any difference. I cant seem to pinpoint where the pain is coming from or whats causing it. Could it be my back? or my chest? Ik nobody can diagnose my problem like a doctor can but any help will still be appreciated. Thanks.

My right shoulder is sticking out...plz read details?

My right shoulder seems to be not in the right place, the anterior (front sureface of it( is really pointing outwards(pointing frontwards), i have to like flex and constantly adjust it to keep it in place...also bc of this my right romboid is pointing out as well...its really weird. Theres really no pain except when i really stretch out my shoulder/chest when doing the pec major stretch. Whats wrong with this and how do i fix it. P.S. i workout...maybe thats why?.. i also used to play basketball and my right arm was the dominant arm in that (lay-ups, dunks, shooting)

its a difficult one really i have the same problem. But maybe try some toning exercises on your stomach rather than cardio so your not sweating off the weight but toning up your muscles in the desired area.

i have never been social, never have gone out alot, never been on holiday, my parent's have never been abroad, their not social people themselves, they only visit there brother's and sister's, my uncles and aunties, my mum doesn't have that many friend's, my dad only socialises through his job and family, he doesn't have friend's either, if that's the lifestyle my parent's have, doesn't mean i have to do the same, my parent's have issues with trusting people, because they don't socialise alot, iv'e asked it that is the reason why they don't trsut my friend's, they either clam up about it or an arguement's start's. i'm sure they'd be happy, if i was out on my own making friend's, but it comes at their expense, wherever i wanna go, they always ask who with, why, where, when, how long for etc

Boobs are primarily made of fat, so it you don't have naturally large boobs due to genetics, chances are doing exercises will just burn the fat off and make them smaller. If your boobs are naturally that way then yes, building up the pecs will give them a little lift.

Potatoes and Pinto beans? What to make for dinner?

We are pretty short on food so I need to figure out what I can make out of potatoes and pinto beans (canned) for dinner tonight. I tried looking up stuff but I dont have anything else to add to it and I liked the idea of fried potatoes with beans but how would I do that? Just add the beans when the potatoes are almost done? Or cook them on the side? I dont really cook with beans because I am not a fan so when we do have beans its usually baked beans or refried beans out of a can but these are just plain old pinto beans in a can and Im a little stumped on what to do with them. I know I could make soup but not really in the mood for soup and I prefer more veggies in m soups and I have no stocks or broths of any kind. Thanks

Differnt ways to work on the pec area?

im 20 and i work out every other day, but then ill slack for a while and not work out at all, this has been the case for a few years, i have a ok chest area,about 70% muscle the rest flab i guess.they loook between pecs/manboobs. i use bench simple push up and back down above my chest, im wondering are there other ways to do my chest because thers not much muscle at the top of my chest more at the bottom so it makes my nipples stick out a little to. any help?

Does starving yourself make you lose weight and give you flat stomach ?

You will be very tired the whole day trust me I know this from experience lol. And starving yourself might last for a couple days but then your gonna want food so badly that it may cause a binge of a high amount of calories because your brain will be saying "EAT EAT". Eat proportioned healthy meals and instead of a snickers eat an orange, or a fruit of your choice. Do a little bit of running about 4 times a week and dont dont worry about what people are saying. When I was your age my dad used to say I was getting chunky and it used to bother me but then I realized that I just needed to eat healthy (Not starving myself but eating good things and cutting down my portions just a bit). You also need to keep in mind that at the age of 15 to like 20 your body will be going throught a lot of changes and you'll start to thin out and become more womanly as you get older and baby fat will come off. Do a little exercise and eat atleast 3 healthy meals a day with a few snacks like fruit in between and you will be feeling great in not time. But dont ever rush weight loss and dont get frusturated with it. The weight WILL come off and youll start to notice it fairly quick but no more than 1 or 2 pounds a week because any more than that is TERRIBLE for your body. And also if you do try to starve yourself the weight will NOT stay off it will come back as soon as you start eating normally again. Therefore its important to make it a lifestyle change instead of a temporary fix or 2 months after youll be back to where you started. Hope this helped. Now I know that is a short timetable, but I only weigh 117-120lbs standing 5'7. I have somewhat a stomach lol..so on that note. What is a good EASY to get into method. using dumbells, sit ups, watever. for a total workout. Ways to workout legs alternativly to jogging? Pec exercises? I can NEVER keep up any sort of routine due to UNCERTAINTY/doubtfulness that it isn't enough or not a good method. Questioning If my 30-40min workout was enough? I don't know why I'm not sore? Or not sore in areas I worked, but broke a nice sweat? I put pressure on myself. I get easily discouraged and dont want that ANYMORE.. please help! Is my balloon molly actually pregnant and how can I identify how far along she is?

I bought the molly a couple days ago and its stomach looked a little large than others in the store's tank. I know it's a female for sure, but I can't tell if it's actually pregnant. I know that you can see black spots in the gravid area when they are pregnant, but my balloon molly is dalmatian colored so I that process doesn't work. Any other ideas on how I might tell if she is pregnant other than just watching her get larger and give birth? HELP PLEASE I'M CONFUSED ABOUT CERTAIN PAIN...?

I have been having alot of body pain... it sucks! I had been told I had a mild case of carpal tunnel... that was a few years back.. I changed jobs so it got better for a little bit, then it started again. The pain in the arms, hands I can hardley hold a pen, let alone sign my name. My hands feel swollen although sometimes they dont appear that way, I also get painfull lumps all over not just in my arms... its on my back, side of torso, thighs, legs...literally all over and they hurt. When I massage them, they feel like bruises and the following day or in a few hrs will appear a bruise... please help I am not overweight, and otherwise in good health. Im scared cause my mother and grandmother, aunties and other family members have a laundry list of medical conditions...PLEASE HELP!!!

I feel like my life is falling apart :(?

I'm fourteen, and I've been pretty depressed for a while now. But now I just feel like my life is falling apart. It started yesterday, when my family found out I ditched school on Thursday to go to town. They expect so much from me, and I just can't take it. They have my whole life planned out for me; college, career, kids. They all expect me to be a successful lawyer and to get into the best university like Harvard or something. And I don't even know if I'll live long enough to make it to uni. I live with my mum, my two brothers, my sister and my step-dad. I want to run away, and I have this friend who told me that if I ever want to run away, he'll pay for my bus ticket and everything. I just want to get away from everything- all the expectations and pressure. My family thinks I'm strong because I always act like it, but I'm crumbling. Don't run before AND after a workout, run after, if you want to run for 40 minutes and can't, work up to it. Take the whey protein after the workout, not before bed. I'm not familiar with superpump max and size on but it sounds like they ARE for muscle gaining. The whey should be more than enough for toning.

could be heart burn. sometimes some stomach acid will get in your lung and itll hurt like crazy, but it might be an actual heart condition. that medicine your taking only addresses pain, but not the problem. keep a very close eye on that pain. it may be something important.

What happened to my pectoral muscle?

I was in the weight room doing unweighted dips and I looked off to the left to check my form in the mirror when I was going down. About halfway through pushing back up, I heard a kind of really quiet popping/sizzling sound and felt a little vibration on the right side of my chest on the edge of that plate of bone in the center of my ribcage. I didn't do any more chest work because I was afraid of hurting it more. Now, it kind of hurts. It doesn't really hurt badly, it's just a dull ache that I get when I breathe out or use my right pec.

Weight Training, but not much muscle growth?

I've been doing weight training with dumbbells and a pull up bar, mainly upper body exercises for about a month, month and a half. But I've not noticed much muscle growth. I mostly do Pec flys with the dumbbells. Could anyone suggest a better pec exercise with dumbbells? I'm 6"2 and weight 11 and a half stone (161lb) Why aren't I noticing growth? What motivated you to have more children?

I was an only child and I didn't want that for my son, I've always wanted a big family and I'd love to have 2 more, we're leaving it at 2 though as we don't have a large enough house or enough money for any more right now. I had a difficult birth with my first as well, I developed pre-eclampsia and then he had horrible jaundice, that was complicated as normally jaundice is ok, he had it due to incompatibility with my blood and was 24 hours away from having a blood transfusion, I was also rather nervous to have a second child but it was fine, the only similarity was that I was induced both times but with my second it was because she was over due. I'd love to have more, I really would, I love being pregnant and having that itty bitty baby, if you want another child have one, in all likelihood it will be nothing like your first and even if it is, the birth is just a small moment compared to everything else you get.

I have an average body type and i've decided to do P90X to get in shape over the summer. For the last month ive been eating and just sleeping, sitting watching t.v or laptop in bed or phone. i dont even go outside that often. ive been eating junkfood like fried everything donuts cookies whip cream cool whip icecream ect. and i keep losing weight!!!!! i did track b4 all of this and lost like 20lbs. but i continued 2 lose weight after. there has been alot of test but i dont think it was that. i have a boyfreind. i havent seen him in 2weeks. i miss him alot. we always talk on the fone but his cuz has been influencing him badliy.(drugs) hes 15 nd im13 if it matters. i have freinds my own age ive been hanging out with them. so im not lonley lol.

How long should I wait to dye my hair so it wont fry?

It's supposed to be 3 months or more in between dyes. But the ones that wash out aren't as bad. Especially if they have natural ingredients and no ammonia. Lately I've been dying my hair a lot with permanent stuff and I now have a lot of flyaways and it's very course on the top. But I've been conditioning and it's helping to make it smooth, soft, and healthy again. So just be sure you're careful!

How can I even out my chest? One side will not grow as fast.?

After high school I started to weight train 4-5 times weekly. As my chest started to grow I noticed the upper part of my right pec will not develop. I have been told use dumb bells to even out, but I was told by the doctor that will not work. My chiropractor said that when I played baseball I partially told a muscle from throwing. It was so minor that I never noticed or experienced pain, but when it grew back it grew back tight. That is why the upper part does not look as full as the other side. I was instructed to massage it in certain parts. I have not done it as consistently as I should. I pretty much only do it when it frustrates me so much from looking at it. Most people don't notice it, but I do and it bothers me. Has anyone else ever experienced this, and what did you do?

Losing Waist and Pectoral Fat?

I am a 19 year old male and over the past 2 years or so I have been on a high protein, low carb diet. At the beginning of this year, I joined a gym and lost quite a bit of weight, but now I am to the point where I need only focus on specific areas. I normally do a fairly rigorous treadmill workout followed by minimal weight training (til I'm tired). I mostly just have fat around my waist(below the belly button) and my pecs have fat. I do pec workouts, but it doesn't really do anything. What are some ways to seriously reduce the fat in these areas?

i think that you should get a guinea pig. They are small furry and very affectionate. I had one before and it would make happy squeaky noises whenever I entered the room. They are not that expensive for the pet itself but they do require a large cage to roam around and play. They can be taught simple tricks and are pretty smart.

Hello everybody I am getting into playing bass. The only problem is I dont have a bass. I had one that was given to me when i was younger by a member of my fathers churches band. It was a 160's vintage sunburst fender jazz. BUT then one day i had it in the corner of my room leaned up against the wall. AND my grandmother mopped the floor, saying oh collin it wont mess up the bass it will just get a little worped. =_= its a electric so it got fried an they said theyd get me a new bass but never did, couldnt afford it. But now we can and we have a budget of 200 or less maybe a lil bit more for the guitar an we are getting the plug n play amp for 30 bucks. The bass on ebay we found on ebay is under 200 an i love how it looks. Its a stellah, but i dont know anything about the company, do they make a good bass? an will the plug n play amp work with a bass guitar?

According to wii fit, I am at risk of being overweight?

How is this possible if when I flex I can see a four pack? Don't you have to have a generally low body fat to see abs? Do I just have a lot of muscle weight? It said My bmi was 23 point something. I dont understand, I dont want to be overweight. I also have pretty big arm muscles and I can easily flex my left pec, not my right as much. So do you think I'm just muscular? If I was over weight I wouldn't be able to do 10 pullups. Is wii fit just inaccurate?

Can greasy food cause stomach ache?

I accidentally killed my friend's rabbit :(?

This is how it happened. I went over my friend's house and she went to go to the bathroom. Her rabbit was in his cage and I went over to pet him and play with him cause I was bored. So, I took him out of the cage (she doesn't mind) and let him walk on the floor. I had a red bull that I was drinking and the rabbit kept trying to get to it, but I pulled it away. I have a possible theory of why pecs become uneven?

I notice that a lot of people have uneven pecs when they work out and I have a theory. Since we know there is no workout that focuses strictly on pecs, because you also use your arms. I think that since all the people I know that are right handed have bigger left pecs I think that since your right arm is stronger than your left it can support more weight, therefore the pec on the side of your weaker arm gets more of a workout because more weight is focused on that pec, anyone following me?

Im 15 and apart from doing 65kg and 70kg on my pecs on chest press doing 6 sets of 10 reps each. And 200 situps and 80 push ups daily. I want to increase the size of my pecs. Medicine ball?? wat can i use?

I'm not sure if my rib is cracked?

I was fighting with my friend for fun, and i didnt feel any pain at the time, we were drinking but i wasn't really drunk. The next evening i felt pain under my left pec. Now two days later it still hurts, it doesnt hurt to breath but if i laugh or cough hard it hurts slightly. It also hurts when i stretch my arm back, but not really if i lean it forward. It doesnt look swollen and there is only a small bruise.

My hair wont take blonde color evenly?

I recently went from brown to blonde so you can imagine how fried my hair is. I've done a color remover, bleached it, used a toner and dyed it. Yet, no matter what I do it won't be an even color all over. My roots are white, my ends are platinum, and the middle is gold. I don't want to keep dying it without knowing what to do. Someone help!
