Is it best not to have any friend's whatsoever, if that's what you're parent's wan't?

i have never been social, never have gone out alot, never been on holiday, my parent's have never been abroad, their not social people themselves, they only visit there brother's and sister's, my uncles and aunties, my mum doesn't have that many friend's, my dad only socialises through his job and family, he doesn't have friend's either, if that's the lifestyle my parent's have, doesn't mean i have to do the same, my parent's have issues with trusting people, because they don't socialise alot, iv'e asked it that is the reason why they don't trsut my friend's, they either clam up about it or an arguement's start's. i'm sure they'd be happy, if i was out on my own making friend's, but it comes at their expense, wherever i wanna go, they always ask who with, why, where, when, how long for etc
