Are there any ways to make my hair grow faster?

My hair right now is right at my nipple. But, it's really fried & I have tons of dead ends, so I'll be trimming it soon. To which it will probably be right above my boobs. I want it to be a little longer then below my boobs for homecoming (October). Anyways to make my hair grow faster! Now, I'm not going to stop straightening it. So don't say that.
