I have acid reflux and my right side of chest aches all day but is it due to heartburn?

i recently found out that i have acid reflex or gerD BUT MY CHEST IS REALLY SORE now especially on my right side center of mec and just undermy pec where my ribs are. i noticed this rib/chest pain about a mont ago and it seems to havegotten worse. if i press down into the cent ov my pec with my finger it hurts and feels really sore. it dosent hurt when i breathe or eat it just aches and feels sore all day. i was wondering if this is caused by my heartburn or maybe its a displaced rib or brised muscle or something? i had xrays last week to look at my chest lungs. but they didnt see anything. so i know its not canser or a tumor or something crazy like that.and its not my lung bc it dosent hurt when i take deep breathes or inhale/exhale. what could this be. should i go bac to doctor to have it looked at?
