Parties& Christenings & Wedddings?

My niece who is in her 30's had a new baby ,I her aunt decided I would wait a few weeks until she had settled into her new home and baby ,after 3 months I sent a message saying I would call later in the evening ( she only live 2 mins away from me ) word came back that the baby was 'just gone to bed ' so I left it at tha and did not call. Then two weeks ago the baby was christened ,there was a gathering of about 50 60 people at her house , his family , all her friends and an aunt and uncle that I know of from her side was also there. we would not be bosom buddies but we would not be distant from each other either , just normal I would say ,there was not one from her dads side asked .I am told now she is getting married shortly but even if I was asked I would not feel welcome or wanted at her wedding ,she would want the clan she at the party ,by the way she would have passed my door with the baby to be christened so there was no excuse !! The other two aunts on her dads side they feel the same( the uncles did not care ) .I have reared four children and if someone called to see the new baby I would make them feel welcome ( and there were no phones to ring ahead then )they had to take you as they found you , but there was a welcome !!. I am thinking this woman is a professional and her house was full of people who had similar jobs but there was no room for the 'aunties' we meant nothing to her . I would not go to her wedding if asked ,what do you think !!
